class information
Fire has always drawn the eye. A flame can lean, flare, tremble, split or suddenly grow still; smoke can curl, drift or darken; wax can run in long trails, gather into pools or cool into unexpected shapes. Firesight explores how these changing patterns can be used as the basis of a structured divination practice built around close observation, symbolism and interpretation. You will learn to read flame behaviour, smoke, soot, wick changes, dripping wax and the remains left after a candle has burned, before moving into ceromancy and the reading of deliberately melted wax forms.

Rather than relying on fixed lists of meanings, you will develop a more responsive method that considers timing, repetition, direction, context and personal symbolism. Physical causes remain part of the process throughout, helping you separate what a candle actually did from the meaning you may choose to draw from it. By combining practical observation with intuitive interpretation, Firesight offers various ways to work with flame and wax as signs without treating every flicker, drip or unusual shape as an omen.
