In this class, we step behind the portal to find the truth. Together, we’ll trace the real astronomy of Sirius, explore the seasonal turning point of Lughnasadh that falls at this same time of year, and pull apart the layers of numerology and New Age invention that have been woven into the narrative. More importantly, we will ask the questions too few spiritual communities are willing to ask: why do we believe what we believe? Why do we take the word of influencers while ignoring history, astronomy, and cultural context? And how can we learn to honour personal experiences without confusing them for universal truth?

The aim of this workshop is not to take away meaning, but to give it back - rooted in the cycles of the earth, the movement of the stars, and the practice of discernment. By the end, you’ll have the tools to see the Lionsgate story for what it is, to honour what is truly happening in the sky and the land, and to create your own rituals of renewal without needing portals or downloads. This is a call to reclaim spiritual clarity, to question with courage, and to step into seasonal magic with open eyes.
