In this class you will learn 'The Northern Style' (Commoners Folk Style) for which practitioners use thumbs, fingers, hands, heels of hands, elbows, arms, knees and feet to massage. This massage has been adapted from the original Floor massage to be performed on a massage treatment couch.
All four main positions (lying on the back, side lying, face down and sitting) are taught in this class. Most Thai Massages start at the feet and progress in an upwards direction and stretching positions are included.
